The Misty family were on holiday in their Zome Kraft, on their way to visit a strange planet called Earth. They knew that Earth was inhabited by Monsters - Flappers, Finners, Roarers and Two-Leggers. Two-Leggers were very backward people, who didn't know how to change their shapes, or give off sparks, or talk to each other without words. The Mistys had brought disguises, so that they could look like Two-Leggers if necessary. But they had made one mistake. They knew that human Two-Leggers came in all sorts of colours, so they thought blue would do as well as any.
